Filmoteca de Catalunya (Raval - Barcelona)

The Filmoteca de Catalunya is a public institution, attached to the Government of Catalonia's Ministry of Culture, which was founded in 1981. The major programming schedules alternate specific film retrospectives with a cross-cutting view of cinema. Another goal of Filmoteca is cataloguing and curating filmic heritage.

The Filmoteca's Educational Services started in 2011 with the aim of disseminating cinematographic culture amongst children and young people: Filmoteca per a les escoles (Learning program) and Aula de Cinema (University project) are some of its main programs.

Photographic Foundation (Galata - Istanbul)

The "Photographer Children's Workshop" was founded after the Marmara Earthquake of  17th August 1999, as part of the rehabilitation work carried out by the Association of Volunteers for Solidarity. The idea of a Photography Foundation arose during the “Photographer Children" project, carried out with voluntary work. The Foundation was officially founded in 2004.



The Photographic Foundation aims to develop the photographic art in Turkey and to popularize the photographic production with priority given to children and young people. Its goals are the dissemination of photographic values produced in Turkey abroad; strengthen the solidarity and cooperation among photo artists; to convey the photographic products to public and supporting cultural and artistic activities.
